Nike Snowboard Holladay Jacket Review
Nope not Holiday, Nike Snowboard Holladay Jacket Review
At first glance there is something different about the Nike Snowboard Holladay Jacket. It’s not quite a jacket, and not quite a coat, It’s got all the goods that are expected from a high-end snowboard coat, but it’s got the hood of a jacket. It’s strapped with a powder skirt, but has ribbed cuffs and bottom hem like my old track jacket. It’s got the hint of a 70′s come-back, with all of the goods and gadgets of today. If you are confused about the Nike Snowboard Holliday Jacket, read on in our review.
The Nike Holladay Jacket is the perfect on and off snow jacket for wearing on and off the hill. I was initially stoked on the hood and faux wool fabric. The hood plays a little trickery on the viewer. “Is that kid wearing a hoody under his jacket?” The hood is made of waterproof breathable material. It’s very rider friendly, and would look super sick if you wore your goggles over the top of the hood.
The Faux Wool Fabric does collect the snow a bit more than I would like it too, but on the flipside the 10,000mm waterproof keeps you dry as a bone on the inside. Nike pulled out all the tech on this jacket also including 10,000 gm breathability. and a 60gm Poly Fill which I found to be the perfect amount for an all around jacket and staying warm here in Utah.
The Nike Jacket boast an easy access music compatible pocket that was very easy to access even with small gloves on.
Another of my favorites from the Holladay Jacket is the powder skirt button down. Something I’ve been annoyed by in the past is the bunching and pulling of powder skirts in the past when I choose not to wear them. While I didn’t always want to remove the skirt, Nike allows you to button it down on the sides to keep it out of the way, or just unzip the whole thing if you’re over it.
Standard are Pit Zips with a perfect matching color-way for the armpits. Pass pocket, large glove hat or goggle pocket inside, for melting off the snow after snorkeling your way through the deeps, or cleaning up after a yard sale.
Also, standard are the cuff gatters, wallet pocket, key clip in the pocket,
Final verdict; The only down sides I can point out are the lack of control over the hood other than the couple of draw strings, other hoods allow to pull back the sides to clear up peripheral vision, and the snow is attracted to this coat like a magnet on powder days. On the plus side, the jacket is very reasonably priced for everything you get. Feel free to leave your comments and questions below.

I saw it on Whisky Militia too. Found it on a google search and didn't know it was a "buy it today or beat feet" website. I was pissed when I went back for it after my next paycheck, haha. But, found it at Amazon, almost sold out. Even DogFunk has 0. Sick shell though, I love it.
